Unity Club  meets the first Thursday at 1:30 from October to June at the Dining Hall in the Fairgrounds.  There are some exceptions.

The purpose of the group is to provide meaningful volunteer community service; to encourage local youth through scholarships and grants; to promote literacy by supporting the Lending Library; and community beautification by support for the Garden Section.  All members are encouraged to participate in fundraisers and service projects.

The Boonville Space Program is an after-school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) course at Anderson Valley Jr./Sr. High School in Boonville, California.The Program is part of the IDEA Project (Innovation, Design, Exploration and Application) led by science instructor Jacob Bagnell and mathematics and media arts instructor Jim Snyder. Our goal is to give students hands-on experience with real-world problems and experiments and encourage students to pursue careers in interdisciplinary STEM fields.

The data we gather will constitute a fund which can serve scientific studies,  inform park management and provide material

for brochures for park visitors. The group invites participation from Individuals, whether amateurs or professionals, who are

interested in botany, ornithology, wildlife, watershed preservation and related environmental concerns.  We need help in

Independent Citizen School Bond Oversight Com.

California law requires such a committee whenever a school district issues school bonds.  This committee was formed

subsequent to the voters’ approval of the Measure A School Bonds in June, 2010.  The school board appoints the members,

who may serve for not more than three consecutive two-year terms.  Committee meetings are open to the public.  More

information about the committee, including announcements of meeting dates, meeting agendas, minutes of prior meetings,

and the names of the committee members may be found on the website for the Anderson Valley Unified School District.
